Martin is Principal Transport Planner for Colin Buchanan consultancy.  His work covers a broad range of policy, research and design experience.  He has worked with professionals from a variety of disciplines to develop more holistic transport appraisal methods encompassing the wider economic, health, and environmental impacts of sustainable transport measures.

Call for abstracts now open for the 4th New Zealand Walking conference

Living Streets Aotearoa is running the 4th New Zealand Conference on walking and liveable communities on 2/3 August 2010 in Wellington. The focus of this conference is on economic value, with the theme: “Dollars and Sense of Walking; creating liveable communities”.

Interislander have kindly donated 2 family passes for travel on the Interislander between Wellington and Picton.  Each pass is valued at $600 and covers 2 adults with car and up to three children.  Please note that that the passes are valid on ordinary public holidays but exclude Easter, Labour Weekend and 15 December – 25 January.
