Walking Visionaries Awards
We are in the final stage of the submission phase now. So far we have received more than 30 submissions from 16 countries. We are happy about this development and want to use the last two weeks of the submission phase for procuring many more ideas.
We therefore would kindly ask you to remind your networks about the possibility to submit to the awards. We see this collection of ideas growing and do not want that people miss it. http://walk21vienna.com/visionaries/submitted-projects/
Attached you find the materials for promotion and of course we are there to assist you if you have any further questions.
Walking Stories blog
We set up the Walking Stories blog and would like to invite all of you as (voluntary) contributors. The Walking Stories blog is a collection of voices from the growing Walk21 Network with the aim to create debate, present new thoughts, set agendas and connect people. We established a cooperation with the Sustainable Cities Collective where we have the posts re-published in a vast global network dealing with sustainable urbanism.
Please let us know if you have interest in this opportunity to publish a story about your work related to walking, your perspective about current challenges in the field, your perspective about the conference themes, etc. We have an author information prepared and will send it to you by next week.
