At the end of November, the week before the Paris Climate talks, people around the globe will march in the largest climate mobilisation the world has ever seen.
People will come together for many reasons – for climate justice and a safe climate; for renewable energy and jobs in the transition to the clean economy; to care for people and protect nature.
People and organisations like Living Streets Aotearoa, around New Zealand are taking climate action and working on solutions, yet our Government is lagging behind most others and holding us back. This needs to change - it needs to change now.
We are joining together to hold our decision makers to account - to send them a message that it is time to start protecting our families, communities and environment from climate change, and it's time to stop protecting polluters.
Join Living Streets and others on 28 November to use our feet to support action on climate change - join a march near you and show walking is a way to take action. Check out People's Climate March for more details
