Neat Street Awards (Papakura)

The Neat Street Awards are an annual event held in conjunction with the Papakura Garden Competition. The community is encouraged to take pride in where they live, liaise with their neighbours and enter to win one of six \'Neat Street\' signs which is attached to the lamppost at the beginning of the street.

School travel plans (North Shore)

In partnership with schools, North Shore City Council have developed travel plans at three schools - Vauxhall, Browns Bay and Bayswater. The plans are aimed at encouraging more walking, cycling and car pooling.
