Creating a Drupal Account

If you have permissions, you can create a User Account at http://www.livingstreets.org.nz/admin/user/user/create

The fields include

  • Username: most usually either firstname.lastname or First Last
  • Email Address: this must match the CiviCRM contact's email address if there is already a CiviCRM record for this person
  • Password: enter a random string of letters and numbers
  • Roles: set the relevent role for the user
  • Notify user of new account: this one is emphasises as it is often overlooked. if this is not checked the user will not be aware that you have created an account for them
